Take the Pledge to End Domestic Violence
By taking this pledge to end domestic violence, I promise:
To help end domestic violence.
To talk to my children, family and loved ones about healthy relationships.
To call the crisis line at 954-761-1133 or visit the web site and ask for help when I need it.
To have a speaker come to my workplace or faith-based organization to educate others about domestic violence.
To donate money and in other ways to this cause.
To volunteer at Women In Distress of Broward County and get involved with WIDA or PEARR.
To call 911 if I see or hear domestic violence in my neighborhood.
To help if I suspect a family member, friend, or colleague is a victim of domestic violence.
To tell two friends about the signs of domestic violence.
To donate unwanted items to the Blooming Sales Thrift Store.
To have a speaker come to my middle or high school to talk about healthy relationships.
To support and participate in Women In Distress' events throughout the year.
